Class 2: Leading Volunteers in Eco-Restoration
Date: Saturday, September 18, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Location: Wissahickon Environmental Center, Chestnut Hill ('Treehouse', Northwestern Ave & Forbidden Drive)
Topics: Wissahickon history; Volunteer leadership & safety; review plant ID
Class 3: Wrap-Up, Field & Written Test
Date: Sunday, September 19, 9:00 am- 1:00 pm
Location: Scout House on Wigard Ave, Roxborough. Park on Wigard Ave.
Topics: Review; practice leading volunteers; field and written test
For all classes:
- Dress for being outdoors
- Bring a bag lunch or snack and drink
- Each site has restroom access
Upon completion of the program and passing of the test, participants will receive certificates along with additional information about volunteer crew leading opportunities.
