Volunteer Opportunities with WRV
Please join us to help restore biodiversity in the Wissahickon Valley Park. Potential activities include cutting back invasive plants to allow for native plants to thrive, installing shrubs and trees to create forest layers, making deer guards, and watering. WRV provides all the tools and gloves but feel free to bring your own! Contact us if you have any questions, we’d love to see you out there!

Note: If you are interested in volunteering with WRV with a group, please contact us.
We rely on individual volunteers and partnering groups to help us implement our restoration projects, which consist of removing invasive vegetation and planting a mix of native trees and shrubs. Over the years, thousands of trees and shrubs have been planted and countless amounts of exotic invasive plant species have been removed, thanks to the work of volunteers!
