Sign up for Rescheduled MLK Day of Service at Historic Rittenhousetown (Make up date for January rain-out)
WRV will lead a socially-distanced volunteer session at Historic Rittenhousetown, on Sunday, March 20 from 10:00 to 12:00. We will help maintain the site of the historic paper mill along Paper Mill Run/Monoshone Creek, which is now a natural area. Our jobs will include removing invasive ivy from canopy trees, and clearing the area of the stone steps that lead to the site from Lincoln Drive.
WRV provides tools and gloves. Meet at the WRV office at 211 Lincoln Dr.
Parking may be available at Blue Bell Field, a five-minute walk from the WRV office.
Please sign up below and we will contact you with details as the day approaches. (Note: you will be asked to provide your email address and phone number, rest assured this information will not be visible to or shared with anyone else!)
Thank you for volunteering! Please consider supporting our work. Your donation will help keep the Wissahickon green and diverse, and all donations are Tax deductible.
